I witness the stars being torn asunder,

Bursting out of existence, like the sparks of fireworks disintegrating into its last breath.

And as they howl in protest, observing the night sky transform into oblivion.

I outstretch my hands, palms wide open, waiting for the cosmos to plummet from the heavens,

Shattering everything in its path.

I close my eyes, bracing for impact,

Awaiting for the rebirth of our dreams.
